The Seven Cities of No Man's Land are the seven major cities in which the majority of the planet's inhabitants live and serve as both No Man's Land/Gunsmoke's cultural and political hubs. Most, if not all, of them, were settled around the remains of SEEDS ships following "The Big Fall."
Locations[edit | edit source]
The Seven cities include April, May, Juneora Rock, "The Third City" of July also known as "Lost July", Augusta, Octovern, and December. While it is not directly stated where each city is located on the map, it can be inferred that most of the cities exist in the Southern Hemisphere of the planet.
History[edit | edit source]
Following "The Big Fall," each of the cities likely began as small settlements around the remains of crashed SEEDS ships which provided intact Plants and thus the very life force, for humans on No Man's Land/Gunsmoke. On Star Date: 7/21/0104 the Third City of July and it's inhabitants were completely destroyed by Vash the Stampede's Angel Arm in what is known as "The July Incident" earning the city the nickname of "Lost July." Six years later on StarDate: October, 0110, 16:07 "The Fifth Moon" incident occurred at Juneora Rock in a somewhat similar though less destructive fashion as July. Vash's Angel Arm, fired, destroy 1/3rd of the city's monumental rock and causing a crater to form on No Man's Land/Gunsmoke's fifth moon. Over the course of the next two and a half years in the onset of the War for No Man's Land/Gunsmoke every city, save Octovern, would lose their plants and thus fall to societal collapse and eventually destruction.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Each city, in one way or another, is named after a month.
- Despite the fact that they are called "The Seven Cities," they are not the only cities on No Man's Land/Gunsmoke. Simply they were the first established and the most populated.
