Slaughter Cafe is the seventeenth chapter of the Trigun manga.
Summary[]
Sometime after Legato's confrontation with Vash, he enjoys a cake in a saloon located in Jeneora Rock. A large group of bandits then enter the saloon accompanied by three slave women. One of the women is transfixed on Legato who enjoys his cake triggering the rage of one of the men. He shoots the spoon out of Legato's hand and nonchalantly Legato requests for another spoon. The man then fires off more rounds of bullets and in the process destroys the cake he was eating. In retaliation, Legato uses his manipulative powers to make the bandit tear out his own heart and then kills the remaining bandits. Walking toward the women, Legato warns them that the end is nigh and for them to find a purpose in their lives. Outside of the saloon, Legato notes that Vash has had a small effect on him, as he stares at Vash's former left arm.
