Fragile (フラジャイル, Furajairu) is the fifteenth chapter of the Trigun manga.
Summary[]
The fight between Vash and Monev the Gale continues. Because of the gun wounds that he sustained in his right shoulder, Monev loses one of his gun bracelets leaving him at half power. This, however, doesn't hinder Monev in the slightest as he's still able to fight on par with Vash, who refuses to make any fatal shots at him. Vash now without a left arm and seeing the dead bodies of innocent town folks laying around the town. He recalls when he confronted Knives about the innocent lives he took. Knives, though, shows no remorse for his actions and gleefully awaits the destruction of the human civilizations in the Project SEEDS ships. However, due to Rem's interference, the ships don't crash land into the planet as Knives planned.
Returning to the present, Vash entires the town bank and demands the teller to open the safe. Onto Vash's plan, Monev fires off a big gatling gun at the bank, but due to Vash using the vault door as a shield he's able to protect himself. Vash then fires off a few shots and is able to put Monev at his mercy. A terrified Monev begs Vash not to kill him and feeling Rem's presence, does this.
